I have a 1997 3.0 with a little problem. Not always but at times when i start the car it idles rough and almost stalls, it actually stalls sometimes. I hold the gas for a few seconds and everything goes back to normal, and usually happens on a warm start.

 

i got the same problem not sure what it is, but i've heard it may be the spark plugs & come to think of it i've had this problem when i used bosch plugs so imma run a test and change them to ngk's.

 

@ idle i run @ 800 rpms when it gets rough it runs @ like 400 then i give it gas and it runs @ normal

 

check your plugs/rotor/wires/coil/icm. more then likely one of those. all can be done by driving up to autozone or whatever place you have in your area.

 

same here every once in a while my car will start and run really ruff. sometimes it stalls and i have to give it gas untill it runs normal. my car has even been worked on for this problem and never could get it fixed.
