Thumbs down I need soooooooooo much help

Uh..... My check engine light came on, so I went to AutoZone and the diagnostic OBD joint said " that a malfunction exists in the electrical circuit for the torque converter clutch." Now, what exactly does this mean? Is it "safe" to continue to drive my car or what? Someone please help me I have no idea what is going on or how much this will cost. Thank you all for the help.

Thats what mine did one (1) day before the transmission fell outta my car. We'll if you bought it at Vandergriff, like me, you can take it in and they'll not only rent your car, but fix your other one for free. Great Service!

hell i thought it was obvious that he had a auto considereing theres a prob with the torque converter. theres your noob moment for the day. but yeah it would probably be a good idea to have it fixed ASAP. the TC is what keeps the engine from choking down while in gear at a redlight. have you noticed that it has been idling low at redlights or maybe being kind of jerky when it changes gears/goes into gear. i wouldnt know how to fix this but i do know that it is a problem that should be fixed b4 it F's something up so bad that you have to replace the tranny altogether.
