I need help working with the swi-x adapter

i have an alpine 9847. i have the volume both up and down and audio ch. working on my steering wheel. both volume buttons work fine but the audio channel button does not. as you know, on the factory stereo, the audio ch. button would go through all 6 of the presets on that certain band and on cd's it would advance to the next track. now that i have my swi-x adapter hooked up, the audio ch. button works fine for the cd part but when i am listening to FM radio or sirius, it will find the next station which comes in, meaning that it will not go through my presets which i have programmed. is there anyway i can fix this so it will go through my presets instead of scanning?

i think that thats alpines way of doing it, if you look at the button from your alpine remote that you programed in it seeks, and doesnt go through your presets.

those are the volume ones

the up and down ones on the remote under the word "volume" are to browase station by station i.e 106.9, 107.1, 107.3, 107.5

the left and right buttons are to browse stations which get picked up better by the antenna
