I just installed rain sensing wipers.

It's called raintracker and it works pretty good. I would have done a write-up, but It would've taken too long. Now I kinda wish I did, but is anyone even interested in this mod? Has anyone even heard of this mod? Overall I'm satisfied, but once in a while it'll stop with the wipers slightly up.

It was $130 and was quite easly to install. I want to go back and clean up the wiring a bit now that I know how to do it.

All you do is wire up a few wires to the wires coming out of the wiper control arm thing. The only wire you cut is the "slow" wire. The rest are just tapped in. And there's only one diode to istall. Then you remove the visors, rear view mirror, and the side interior panel. I was suprised that once I remove the side panel, the wire just dropped right beside the dash for a clean install. Mount the sensor below the tinted strip on the window and put everything back together. Oh, then you install the button. I'll take pictures of the sensor now. For some reason it took a long time, but it wasn't difficult at all.

Your eyes? lol

Here's the sensor. I'm going to by a thing to cover up the wire and make it flush with the windsheild to give it a factory look.

Here's the button. It was supposed to sit rotated 90 degrees, but it wouldn't stay cause of the way I drilled the hole. Now it overlaps the dimmer button. I'm going to fix this later.

Pictures of the sensor outside.

It goes highspeed if it really starts to poor or if you pass a semi truck.

Klepto: I could've done a write-up with pictures, but I don't think I can do it now. It wouldn't make sense without the pictures. Now I regret not doing it, I just wanted to finish faster.

Like I said in the last post, it will speed up as rain gets harder, but car speed won't affect it.

I like electronics, so for me it's just a cool factor. It's not because i'm lazy, I just think it's cool.

I think he meant the semi truck because of the water they splash on our cars.
