Umm.. like I said, i hear some sound when I go over a bump. like squeezing sound..?(sounds like from a rubber)

I thought my stock shocks had problems, so that's why I heard sound..

but.. even tho I changed my suspenstion from neuspeed to TEIN SS(which means i also changed the shocks), I still hear the sound..

what do u guys think is the problem?? and.. anyone has this problem too?

is that cuz of the ball joint? or what??

help me out.. this sound makes me annoy!!

yeah.. i hear it only if i go over a bump... when i drive, it's fine.. also, only for front.. rear is fine.. man..what do i have to change?

I doubt it's his shocks, because it is the same sound that he heard from before. My guess would be a worn out bushing, or something that isn't greased correctly.

If you push either side of the front of my car down or lean on it you hear the worst squeak of your life. It happens when Im driving, when I go over a bump anything. I jus learned to live with it

Control arm rubbing fenderwell.

check the A arm bushings (upper and lower) the sway arm bushings and the control arm bushings.. everything else makes noise when turning the wheel at a stand still.

oh no..

well.. I just went back from a shop today.. cuz of rubbing the fenderwall..

and.. they did tighten the springs..like 2~3 turns..

after this, i don't know why.. but the sound almost stops!! i still hear very little bit.. but it's SO MUCH BETTER THAN BEFORE..

and the riding is sooooo much better!!! i can really tell now!!

btw, i also thought it's from bushing.. so i was gonna change it.. but i think i'm little bit fine with this... so..if i hear a sound again, i might change that..

just came back from pepboys (ny) had the same problem, my sway bar nuts came off, the lock nuts are worn. so it vibrated off. new bushings & lock nuts coming soon 2 a CL near u.

i had the same problem. when i would go over a road bump, railroad tracks, or even on a slightly warped street i would hear a high pitched squeek. just in the front though. my mechanic told me it was the bushing so i bought them and he replaced the front ones in about 20-30 min and charged me $15. didnt make any more squeeks.

lately though i have heard a squeek once in a while in the back of the car. when i back out of my parking lot and turn to go straight, i hear a sort of rubbing sound. it is not too often though so it hasnt bothered me too much. if it gets worse my mechanic will have to check it out.

btw, when i read the thread title i was excited because i thought nippon was back and i wanted to know how his car was. i cant remember what he was going to do to it but i know there were going to be changes. anyways, when is nippon coming back, im anxious to see how his car turned out.

i got the exact same problem on my front driver side. kinda sounds like a old door hinge er some shit. mine also does it when i hit the brakes.
