so saturday my little brother told me my mom to make me go get his little friend. my brother being the golden child gets his way and i got to go get his friend. as im gettin in my car a cop comes down my street. i get in back up and im followin the cop. he pulls in a parking lot and comes out behind me. pulls me over for no reason... of course. so im pissed. the cop comes up to my window askin for my stuff. i give it to him and he runs my shit. he comes back tellin me i got no front license plate. then he asks how dark my windows are. i was tryin to get him not to check so i say %35. he checks neways and ther %15 haha bad idea. he comes back tellin me to get it fixed or he will give me a $100 ticket. i take my license and insurance back and throw my insurance car in my glove box and slam it shut. the cop asks for my license back and gives me 2 tickets. one for tints and one for license plate. now i gotta get my tints fixed and pay court fees... there goes my HID kit....damn

been there man...i feel your pain! i got pulled over for the license plate bulb in the back being out when all he had to let me do is wiggle the wiring and it'll come back on..so for that i got a fix-it ticket along with no front plates...lucky for me i get cops that come in my place of business so they just sign it off..better paying $10 then $951! good luck with everything..

FIY: whenever i see cops, i either wait til they roll by or i definitely roll down my windows, i even got my gurl on the lookout so she knows what to do if i'm not paying attention

these threads are hilarious, seriously if you have anything illegal, anything at all, then why would you follow a cop? i don't even get close to cops and i have nothin illegal besides a video screen and i turn that off as soon as i see a cop. like seriously c'mon guys, and i'm pretty sure he pulled you over cuz you were following him and he could see you had no front plate. and the tint should be a fix-it ticket so it won't really cost you much at all

 

if you know any cops then they could just sign off your ticket and just pay the $10 or whatever it may be..otherwise you would have to pay to take the tint off, find a cop and have him sign it off showing that you actually did take off the tint..

but like you said Mitch, i don't ever follow cops and if it so happens that i'm in the same area as a cop, i make sure i turn down my music and roll down my windows

 

I actually follow cops all the time. especially on the highways. Cause other cars see them comin, and pull off to the right lane. So I stay behind him and get to wherever im goin pretty quick. And If he starts to slow down, I slow down and go in the right lane, that way he doesnt try getting behind me.

Although one time I was doing this, and another cop came behind me. That was interesting.

Yeah that was definitely not a good idea. There were 3 of them, one more farther up ahead. They were probably just leaving from something? who knows.

 

i was in a hurry so i had to go. plus ive drove by cops all the time with all of it and ive never got pulled over once so i didnt think that i was this time either but thers a first for everything.

 

haha. i was once driving by a scene of a crime, which had like 10 cop cars in a single area. and two cops pulled ahead in front of me and one followed me, so it was kind of nerve wracking just driving. this went on for 5 minutes.

but nothing happened.

i like to leave my car w/ the license plate on and no tints. it looks like shit but it will be one amazing sleeper. =)

I still don't understand the purpose of these threads. I've been ticketed before for going 18 over. Yah, I was pissed off, I had a 75$ ticket plus a $140 court fee because I was under 18 (weird county law). Anyway, was that the cop's fault that I was going 18 miles over? Did he remote control my car? No. I know you're pissed, but be pissed about the fine not the cop, he did his job, even if they are stupid laws.

cops aren't that bad. I was on a date, and got pulled over for no front license plate. I told them it fell off when i was on the road lol. They let me off. The other times i got pulled over were definately my fault, speeding etc lol. fun times
