I Got An S2000
Well, I know many of you may say I am spoiled for this but I ave to say it. I got an s2000 for a very early graduation present. Debating whether to keep the CL o nt. I am thinking I probably will just to have a "pimp" car to drive so that I don't put many miles on the s2000. What do you guys think, sell it and buy [arts for the s2000 or keep it?

Congrats on the s2k!!!
My wife and I just bought a 2000 Integra Type R a few weeks ago. We traded her '97 accord ex for it, so I didn't have to give up the CL.
I say keep the CL, you don't want to put too many miles on that new s2k, right!?!?!?!?

Congrats, but one word of advice... learn to drive the S2k properly at autocrosses and track events before even trying to probe its limits on the street. I've seen too many drivers wrap these things around trees because they didn't realize how the car would react when they entered a corner too hot.
I've autocrossed my CL, S2k, and WRX, and the S2k is by far the most fun car to do it in out of the trio, but it's also by far the trickiest to drive at and over the limit.

Yeah, I realized how powerful that car is when I pulled a 540 almost a year ago. I am very careful with ythat car. I only drive quikly on straightaways, and neve around turns.

keep the cl if you can afford it, if not sell it and buy something cheaper. I would keep the miles of the s2k and put money into the engine, that car can be fast if you make it. Good luck

God damn a $32,000 sports car for graduating high school!!!!
Ummm I got kicked out of the house when i graduated.
I would say keep the Cl, especially if your not paying for insurance. Speaking of insurance, the premium must be outrageous, even if your parents have youcovered!!!

sell the cl before the resale value goes down anymore. in a few more years you will get jack shit for that car. i don't think the cl is the greatest car to keep for a long time.

I agree...you shouldn't see most daily drivers as investments at all...unless you like losing money on an investment. I say drive it to the ground, baby your s2k and just use it for the "special girls". You'll have a long time to test the limits of the s2k, and the CL will last you through college with no problems. By then, you'll be able to put money into the s2k and probably get rid of the CL for another daily driver.

oh yeah, and I love the CL, I won't be selling it for at least a few years. Who says I can't use the CL for the "special" girls. The CL has way more room.

Congrats on the car!! I just wished my parents could get me something like that. What kind of grades do you get and what do your parents do for a living?
