because acura said no, its ok, 3.0's are ok without a shifter, they lag lower rpms but kick ass in upper rpm range

it'd be nice, but it probably wouldn't sell. When the 3.0's came out they were more of an old person car. Not very performance worthy. They still aren't and still are old peoples cars

I wish the 3.0 had a stick. My friend just got a Mazda Speed Protoge which is a stick and it is so much fun to drive. I think the 3.0 would be such an awesome car with a stick.

I think that it is the "public be damned" attitude... honda is going to do it their way and it hurt the 3.0 acura's perfomance image. that bull about it being an old persons car is just that - bull.

look at the majority of people that bought them new? When I went in and bought mine they told me I was the youngest owner they had seen. It's still pretty much the same way but now the prices are getting down into a range where kids can now afford it.

if all cl's use a j-series, the motor was not designed w/ a manual tranny until the recent CL MT and accords. So all older hondas using the J-series (97+ v6 CL, 98-02 accord V6, etc) only had autos.
