I was on the Capital beltway, and traffic was driving me nuts, bumper to bumper. Out of nowhere a fellow 97 Acura CL 3.0 cuts me off ... without a signal!!! Then I give the flash of the lights and a wave to signal a friendly hello and the driver completely ignores me. Whatever happened to Acura owner pride?

This morning coming to work I had some guy (older man) in a black CL-S behind me. Man, he did not know how to drive for shit. He would be behind me, then fall back, then speed up to about 3 car lengths away, then brake and fall back. A couple of times he tried to pass me in the middle lane, but traffic is so heavy in the morning (but moving), no one is going anywhere. After he would get boxed in, he'd change lanes real hard (I could see the car pitching left and right), then fall back again. What a shame. Such a nice car with a guy who can't drive for shit........

Totally hear you on that one. It's not just that they can't drive, it's that they have no courtesy for another Acura. Dude, I even give Honda's props on the roads. It's all in the family.

I got cut off, too, by a gold 2001 CL-S in Fairfax County Parkway....tags were "MYTYPE-S"....maaan...thanks a lot buddy! Now you got me lookin into trading in my 98 for a new one. Might just do it tomorrow....if I get a good deal!!!

 

Well, I have a GOOD story about Acuras sticking together... Today I was on 7 approaching Tyson's Corner, and a blue TL was next to me in the right lane, and behind us was an old crappy Neon with some weirdo behind the wheel... Anyway, to make a long story short, the Neon was trying to pass us and being a real j*****s about it, so I made it my job to parallel the TL so the Neon couldn't get by... After about two miles of this, the Neon finally turned off onto another street, and at the next stoplight, I glanced over at the TL, and the guy was grinning at me like, "We showed him, right?" It was pretty great. Not that I was a mean driver, but that I had a partner in crime.

heyCL-ever-girl, what model do you have? 3,0 or 2.2? anyway that was pretty cool what you and the TL did i fucking hate kids in there slow ass neons that alway ride your ass.they think there car is the shit but it's just a pice of shit.

 

LOL, good story. I did a parallel with three cars (all of my friends) to some oldsmobile trying to pass us. I think we slowed down I-70 to about 35 mph.

I have a 97 3.0. You know who the worst people are though? The ones who drive Chevy Cavaliers... THEY think their cars are so freaking cool, and they're always like weaving in and out of traffic. I feel sorry for their disillusionment. One time I saw a girl with a huge sticker on the back windshield of her Ford Escort that said, "Bad Ass Girls Drive Bad Ass Cars" lol

A real jackass is someone who rides really close to your bumper and throws his arms up in the air every time you break. He looks around crazily like he's going to pass you as soon as he gets some balls, but he can't because he knows his acceleration sucks and you'll probably just parallel him anyway. His rear bumper is plastered with "Don't blame me, I voted for Gore" stickers, and he has a mullet. A bad one.

i saw a red type-s on I-675N today some old guy driving it, he was jst like that guy in the black CL speeding up and slowing down horrible driver!

 

I Have An Acura Story Too... I Was Leaving Work, I Have A Blue 97 3.0 And I Was Going Down 8 St Which Is A Two Lane Road, I Was On The Right Lane When In My Side Mirror I See Another Cl Same Color And Evrything, Too Make A Long Story Short We Were Both Stuck In Traffic, When He Ended Up Having Too Turn We Both Pull Next Too Each Other And Gave Eachother Props For Our Cars, It Was Kinda Nice Since Here In Miami A Cl Is Not Something You See Every So Often, Which Is A Great Thing! Well Atlleast Cl-ers Down Here Most Of The Time Are Nice Too Eachother, Unless There Hating, Also One Day @ These Hang Outs I Go Too We Where On Our Way Out, It Was 2 Tl's, My Cl, & My Cousins Integra Back To Back Down The Street, It Seemed Like The Acura Family From Big To Small, Looked Nice
