I feel violated--They stole my rims!!

Here's a link to pictures I took today of my car which was vandalized last nite.

http://albums.photopoint.com/j/Album...a=12222519&f=0

All my wheels were stolen, my head unit, and passenger window smashed out.

That sucks. You know, I park in New York City all the time, and the only problem I've ever had was when I was visiting my GF in VA. They broke into her car in a mall parking garage. I hope your insurance will cover everything.

Holy Shit!! Did you have wheel locks? I have the same rims. What type of headunit did you have? Is your car dropped?

I had wheel locks but they smashed my passenger window and found my key in the glove compartment.

I had a Pioneer DEH-P600 head unit.

Yea, my insurance is covering everything, but now I get to choose new rims, and a head unit.

CLPower,

They used their own jack and spare tire; they never got into my trunk at all....

CLTypeR,

I was parked in front of my condo complex; the shift knob was not taken;

My insurance company covered everything; so it looks like I will be picking out some new rims, and head unit and alarm system.

Steve,

When u get ur headunit next time call me. I have my headunit rigged so that you have to take apart the whole center consol to get it out. Seeing that you had a radio kit on ur headunit. All you do to get the unit out is pull hard. Only drawback I can think is...if they want ur unit next time, they might jack up ur center consol trying to get the unit out. So.... I dunno.. it's up to you. I was trying to find you online today... but I wasn't at the computer for most of the day. Fucked up. I luckily park my car right in front of my window so I monitor it at all times.

I'll try to catch you on the computer later.

James

I was pissed and am still. I don't know if any of you saw the theft deterrant they have in South Africa, but it shoots flames out from under the driver and passenger sides of the car!!!

It sure would be nice to walk out there and just see some shoes and ashes all around my car, with my baby intact!

That would be great! I would have loved to have seen the people who walked on my car the other night burn (well just alittle)so they get away from my car and never do that shit again.
Oh you still have to pay a deductable on that claim right?

Yeah your lucky its only 250 mine is double that but i think my parents are going to lower it in case something else happens to my car. I forget to mention in my other post that i was sorry to hear what happened to your car. It looked great before they took everything but now you have a chance to make it even better than it was before Best of Luck

Hey Phat CL I think I saw your car once at Tysons parkinglot near bananna republic 4th floor.

Well anyways sux to hear about your car. I know how it feels I got my legend jacked 5 years ago right in front of my house in springfield. It had alarm, rims and everything. Found it 2 months later in dc stripped no hood, no rim, no stereo, no seats. There's deff some professionals around in NOVA,MD,DC

Dude, I'd be worried about the way the car is laying on the back passanger corner, it looks like the car isn't laying down on the suspension but more like the body and possibly other underbody parts, I'd have it checked by an Acura dealer just to make sure dude....

Looking back a second time, the exhaust is probably in bad bad shape. It looks like it's either cruched or it's pushed up into the body in the back.... SUCKS!

BTW, car looked sweet before it got all messed up, hope karma finds the turds that did that to your car.

I wouldn't let some jackasses steal the joy of hooking up your ride....just get a real good security system and don't keep the key to your wheel locks in the car.

I felt the same way after it happened.
