I don't know about a few quick questions, but just a few....

I'm new to the site so, easy on the burns. I own a 99 CL. I've had it for about 6 months now. I just recently purchased an older Chevy truck so that I can start doing some mods to the CL. I have a few pics that I'll be posting here shortly. But, anyways...

All I've done to it so far is installed an AEM V2 intake, lowered the ride an inch and a half, and added 17" ADR Spade's to it. I heard that the 99 CL F23 is the same as the F23 in the 98 Accord. If so, I'll have no problems when adding mods to the engine itself.

My real questions are... What about the exhaust system? All I've found is the HKS Drager system, and I'm only a few clicks away from purchasing it. Before I purchase it, I was wondering if anybody else here has the same kind of exhaust installed on their car. If so, is it worth it? Because this shiny pipe isn't cheap. Or are there any other options that I've overlooked?

My friend has a 4dr 98 Accord. I noticed that the exhaust route is different than my CL. Would the 2dr 98 Accord have the same exhaust route as my CL or, is it still different?

My other question is: Is the header that's found on the 98 Accord the same as the CL?

also look for prelude parts as well those fit too

exhaust systems are available, catbacks, might have to be custom bent, but look for a 4cyl accord 98-02

HKS Dragger is a very nice system, make sure to get only only since the CL need back pressure and duals are not necessary

i have a magnaflow and i paid really cheap on ebay and mine was only a week old and i got it for 40 bucks shipped and its a 250 buc SS muffler, dual 3" tips

you want the 2 door not the 4 door for the same reason you listed, its totaly different

i think its the same for teh headers for the accord but also look into the prelude as well, and DC Sport headers are the way to go man

if u do get the hks make sure ur buying the cat back and not just the rear section. i have the catback and its a very nice exhuast. i paid $650 back in 2000. it seems to have held up just fine over the last 4 yrs through all of the winters. however it did get louder over time. the only bad thing about it is that the 2.5" piping kills low end power and when u get on it its loud but deep.

u can use a header from the 94-97 cord ex or 98 cord.

here a pic of it

peace

Yeah the DC Sports header is on the top of my list for a header. Here's the pics of my CL:

Yeah, there's two different orders for the HKS exhaust. What's up with this? One is going for $813 and it says "exhaust system". And the other one is just the rear section which is $493. Which one were you saying to get?

I don't know why my pics aren't showing, they were just a few secs ago. Here's the links to the pics. Hopefuly THEY work.

I'm using ImageStation to host my pics. I guess it isn't working for me. Does anybody know of any better place to host pics for free?

That figures. The website that I'm using to host my pics is what the problem is. Cheap-ass-shitesite. I want an exhaust that's gonna give me better low end power. VXCL said that the HKS system is poor on low end power. But, his CL looks like a 3.0. Would there be a difference?

the reason that he is lacking low end is because the piping is to big for the 2.2 liter engine... so there for with my 2.3 I went with 2.25 inch piping... I gain volume but dont lose as much back pressure.
