i bent my rim

i bent my fucking rim...only a small bend..but still...i tried to dodge one pot hole..and hit the other.....i tried hammering some of it in...doesnt look as bad now......got quoted $80 to fix it...is this a good price...like i said..the bend is small...about 2-3 inches maybe......and its only on the outer edge...no tire damage.....

I did that once, here is my 18" table:



I got the contractor (construction) to pay me $400 for a new rim and tire. It took awhile and a letter head from a lawyer, but I got paid. You might be able to get the state to pay for the damage.

Yeah, I fucked up one of my rims last month! :angry:

Not sure what I'm gonna do about it. I really don't want to buy new rims.

drive on it?? Ive got one, maybe 2 bent rims...just throw them on the back and live with it...if their on the back, you wont feel much....but have them balances as good as possible and live with it...lol...i am

thats not a bad idea about the table ....but i asked a few people about filing a reports..it didnt happen in SA..in a small town right outside where i lived..and they said it would take for ever..so im not gonna even hassle with it..but damn..nice table....

yea..buying a whole new set is out of the question...that why i wanna try and get it fixed

and yea..i put it on the back..its not as bad....but i cant live with it...it hurts me deep down inside to know that my rim is going through pain....

around 230-250..depends on where i get it from
