I am getting suspension Need Help.

I was going to get the eibach but i heard h&r are better from this installer. Is this true? he said it would lower my car 1.75 in F and 1.5 in R, how would this look? I want an even look, he said that the cls are higher in front anyway. I got quoted 550 for install, h&r springs, and allignment, please advise I am going to do thuis soon. late

I just installed the Eibach Pro Kit on my '99 CL 3.0 with Tokico shocks. Lowered about 1.75" in front and rear. Still rides great. With the 19" rims, the car looks phat. Check it out under driver profiles on www.customautos.com

I have the H&R sport springs, I paid $160 for them from auto dynamic. I put them on my self, it isn't that hard. I took the assembly off and took it to a shop that changed the spring and put it back together, this was a lot easier and worth the 40 bucks. I like the H&R's a lot, glad I went with them over the Eibach's. I have a friend with the Eibach's on his accord and it dropped his car a little more than mine.

Hey Revolver, they don't make H&R's for our cars anymore, because they squeeked and made a lot of noise. I am going with the eibach sportlines. At least this is what the dude at the shop told me. I don't have pics cause they still haven't gotten my springs in yet!

I was also going to put the H&R's on my car, i heard they ride a lot nicer than the eibach's. I'm not sure about the prokit's, but i heard that the sportlines don't ride that well, real bouncy. So those are out of the question. I haven't been able to find the H&R's either. So what do you guys think would give the best ride, and still improve handling?

Ok I'm posting pics of my car... I used the Eibach pro-kit, had it lowered Thursday. It should settle a lil bit, so these pics aren't really "it" yet...

The only problem I have with the pro-kit (so far) is that it didn't lower it very far, but I wanted Eibach and it was a choice between 1.5" and 2.25" (with the sportlines) and 2.25" is just too much for me. So I guess this is ok.

Before...

After...

Well, what do you think? Just for the record, guys, this is Adrienne's First Mod... so be really nice even if you hate it, or else I'll get discouraged and not do anything else, and that sucks.

Hey Adrienne it looks nice. Next step are some rims.

I have Eibach pro-kit on my car. Eibach is the best in the market and I love the way my car handles with my 18's. Here a some pics.

Rims are pending a decision... I have like ten styles I'm looking at, trying to decide which I want... but you're right, they do come next. Maybe I'll photoshop some of them onto my car and get you guys' opinions...
By the way, no, I do NOT know whose ass is sticking up in the second picture... I guess he's some guy in the neighborhood. I'm sorry if it offends anyone.

I thought the Sportline's lower 1.7 inches?

I'm pretty sure that's what I'm gonna get. I got a quote from shox.com for $170.

Hey that is true. The sportlines only lower it about 1.7". Not 2.25" at least for our 2.2's

Well, I went to the Eibach website and it does say 1.7"... but I swear I read somewhere that it has a 2.25" drop. Who told me that?

*SIGH* But anyway, I couldn't have used it anyway; they aren't available for the 3.0...

See, because modacar.com says that the sportline gives the 'lowest possible drop for that racecar look'... and we all know that 1.7" isn't the lowest possible, right? Sorry for the misinfo.

Looks good Adrienne, love the color of the car, I dont think anyone in my state has one that color. Let us see what you choose for rims. BTW, who cares what it really looks like, a female CL owner and modder... thats what we all like to see!
