how to remove wood panel

Hi Guys,
I was wondering if anyone knew how to remove the woodgrain panel stuff in the dash?? I want to take it out and carbon fiber it, i just dont want to rip it out incase i snap the snaps

i can't get my middle piece off...really afraid of breaking it
if you can ever figure it out let me know...cuz right now im all carbon fiber EXCEPT middle wood piece lol looks dumb

I worte up those instructions if you want help.......

pm me and i can send you the original file, its 8mb

the pic before the last has a pic of where all the clips and screws are, so its self explanitory, i would recommend taking out the glove box to get a better angle

search for how to take this out

your writeup is good. I'm using it right now. it's a bitch reaching all those screws. btw does the climate control come totally OUT? how do you get to that screw...

once you loosen up all the clips you can pop out the climate control with the woodgrain still attached, then take the screws off the climate control and thats it

That's what I thought. I've almost got the bastard off. I'm having all the wood trim painted black - you think gloss would be cool or flat? I'm thinking gloss.

ya post some up when you are done for sure, im taking my out after my tourny this weekend and painting them silver, a darker shade then the interior
