From the dealer the fog lights are like $330 or $350... something like that. Warner (Moose@dccnet.com) is the man to get your fogs from, a few people on this forum have purchased them from him for around $100 plus $18 shipping. They are the 98-99 kit... the only difference is the switch, the switch for the 97 goes oppisite the seat heater switch... the 98-99 switch goes by the clock and is a little bigger than the 97 switch. The lights themselves and the wirring is all the same, just the switch is different... "dustbuster4" has some experience with this situation, maybe he can tell you where he got his 97 switch.
yea i was just readin up on that switch info ... my bad for askin the will it fit question i just read that post last nite or somthin... anyone else get there fogs from this fellow?? thanks

Hey I just did
I bought my second set from him yesterday. I had a cracked lens on my first one, but I am trying to get it replaced, if so, then I'll have a whole set to sell again to someone. Thing is, I have a '98 with the different switch.
Talk with Werner up in Canada. email hime at moose@dcc.net
BTW - If I do have to sell them, I may be willing to take a loss. I bought them for $126.50 + shipping.

Fuckin' Thieves!!!!!Get them from Warner! You can't beat his prices! Also, if you win his auction or buy from him directly, ask him to print out the install instructions for 'ya. Also, you might ask him if he can get you a '97 switch. Apparently, he must work for Acura (based on all of the OEM Acura products he sells). (I bought my new OEM 6-CD changer from him for $182.00). [Shit I just checked eBay, and just this afternoon, someone got the same 6-CD changer for $102.50! This is a $400 to $600 item. Warner trades under both moose@dccnet.com and manheim68 on eBay. He's the man!]
I got a pair from moose@dccnet.com for $132.00 shipped. Youshould give him a try. Thanks to Dustbuster 4

The switch is for a '98/'99.
Hey,
Well I needed the fog light kit I just purchased. But........there is a kit on EBAY right now going for $50. I don't know if the guy who is the high bidder is in this forum, but the auction closes tomorrow night. If I could've gotten them that cheap, I'd be happier than a runaway slave about now.

I take it that you couldn't fix the broken one?
Nope. I tried the professional heat gun to try to loosen the lens from one foglight, but I guess it needs to be at a higher temperature. The other engineers seem to think that it is a midgrade sealant with a temp rating of at least 500 degrees. I would have to heat the whole thing to 500+ just to get it loose, then handle it to remove the lens. Too much trouble, and chance to get burned. I might as well use the 2nd kit and chalk it up to being a $300 set of foglights. I will have spare parts though!
I may try to bake the thing in the oven, minus the plastic parts to try to get the lens free, if that works, then I may sell the other kit at a later date for a lower price.
I am also almost tempted to use an acrylic remover/similar to nail polish remover to get it free. This is the same stuff they use to break down the active ingredients in Krazy Glue.

Talk about a good deal!!! 76.00 bucks? I can't wait to install them. I never thought I'd get them for THAT price.
