how low can you go?

well i can get lower but but as low as some of my friends and their cars. anyways this winter i will be doing a few things to my car. one it wont be a DD anymore, TWO finish the painting of the car, THREE big turbo kit with water meth injection. along with smoothing of the bay if i have time to do so and the money and resources to accomplish that.

my BIG TURBO kit will consist of
Garrett T3/T4E 57 trim and a 63ar
Integrated engineering rods and pistons
precision 600hp core and customer intercooler piping
eurojet tubular manifold
tial 38mm wastegate
tial BOV.....sounds delicious.
new main bearings
new rod bearings
all the other bolts and gaskets that need replaced
new oil pump
south bend stg 4 clutch with resurfaced OEM FLYWHEEL
snow performance dual stage water meth injection

then when the money builds up again i will add my LSD so i wont have "one tire fire" anymore.

other than that i plan on going a little lower with my car then get wheels eventually but i have decided to put those on hold till i can run some good numbers with my car. i have a guy that is going to put my engine together along with hone it for me for 350. this guy is rediculous with engines. he builds the dirt track car motors for this area and they are spot on so im not worried about it blowing up.

hey now. hey now. i will. and a 57 trim on my car is going to put me at the 400 mark if i wanted to do that. i might go a tad bigger to go over 400 on 93 octane. i havnt decided on that one yet though.

WI about the best thing you can do for a boosted car, imho -- just make sure the rest of the drivetrain is up to the tq increase if you're going for power rather than just det suppression: SP makes a decent kit, but if looking in that range the labonte stuff worth taking a peek at, as well. it's a treat to watch your car evolve, best luck with the plans.

ill be upgrading the drivetrain along the build as well. the only thing im worried about is my axle i have a ripped boot so i will need a new one soon. other than that i am good to go i hope. im looking for a garage to build in this winter as well so i dont have to listen to my parents complain they are cold when they get in their car in the winter.

i think i have decided to go gt3076r for my setup. i have been reading some bad things about my car on a t4 setup. i don't want those problems ill just go dual ball bearing rather than journal bearing.

thank you and it will be powered by a gt3076r with a 38mm wastegate and a 1bar BOV both from tial! i might just end up building my head as well since it will be apart so i dont have to go back in and build it. that really will just happen if my funds are there

i will do that for sure. like i said i need a garage this winter. if i buy the kit like now i can have it done before winter. so then i would just need a storage garage. but i probably wont get it now so i need a work in garage. i just got off the phone with the company who rounds the whole kit up and im getting a good deal for all the bits and bolts and turbines i need. im pumped.

Cl's look so much bettwe lowered when the wheels are flush with the fenders, like in arbers pic above, i feel like the rear wheels are in way too close on stock offsets & whatnot.

thanks man. ill be totally 100% honest. its all about STANCE. get a nice set of wheels some spacers and slam your car and you win. if you get the chance check out vwvortex in the vw section and go to the 337/20th/gli section. there will be a stance thread there. that is what its about guys. check it out and tell me what you think.

i have a few ideas for wheels on my car. they include
merc alphards.
merc 2 piece mono blocks
corvette sawblades from a c4
porsche turbo twists
porsche lobster claws.

those will be after my build though this winter and spring.

If money is no issue go with a JDM canover air ride system. I knew a guy with a jdm h22 engine in a 94 accord that had canovers and auto-x with them. They ride and handle great.

i drive a vw but i REALLY WANT to do air ride. ill be going with a company called mason tech or BDA-felgian that reside about 45 min away from me. they do ride alot better and handle alot better than the original air rides that were out.
