Does anyone have a how to or instructions on how to install a generic short ram intake on on the 2.2/2.3 CL?

 

It was pretty easy. Takes about 15 minutes. Unbolt the air filter box. Separate it from the black tube that runs to the throttle body and remove the box. It's ok to leave the baffles that are underneath the box (down in the fender). Unhook the small hose from the black tube and loosen it from the throttle body and remove. This is where my memory gets a little fuzzy - it's been more than a year. Your intake should come with 2 rubber hoses. The bigger hose runs from the intake to the valve cover. I think the smaller tube carries coolant, but I can't remember what parts this tube runs between. Maybe someone else remembers. Have fun.

 

but my generic intake only has one tube?? what should i do??

 

If you've only got one tube, then you don't have to worry about my bad memory. The single hose will run from the intake to the valve cover.
