but they dont have traction problems.
stock evo ix's are rated at 286 bhp and dyno's at 235whp.

well yea there lack of traction problems and quickness off the line, is a huge reason they run nice times.

Yeah, but I have heard of Cobalt ss beating them from like 10 mph roll, but that is just what I have read on the Cobalt forum.

yeah there are a handful of evo owners who cant drive, and also a handful of cobalt owners who are actually fast.

im puttin out 210whp w/ 186trq it all in the driving n the size of the tires and weight. for me to hit that time i ran with almost an 8th of a tank running on race gas 100octane. i had on 15in dragradial on plus u got to heat up the tires real good so it doesnt spin. i came out the hole at 66000rpm and shifting at 82000rpm. o yea the hole in the back of my bumper helped a lot in my 60ft and my mph.you ppl think you need alot of power just to hit low 13. all you need to do is work the head do the whole fuel system and the ignition and have a good clutch n suspenion you be fine.

My friend, who I will never let drive my car again, pegged the speedo past 140 and said it took aprox 3 seconds to fall down to 140. Although I wanted to beat the shit out of him, I was pretty proud. I'm guessing 145ish mph top

just thinking

the 1g is impressive being as though i buried my needle at 140 and was still accelerating. my 07 tl-s cuts out at 150(fuel cutoff).so in theory a 97-99 cl might be able to top a 07 tl-s in a cross country straightaway.(if it stays in one piece). can anyone COMFIRM that a 1g cl can hit 150+? i tapped my moms 94 accord out at 135.(hit what seemed like a rev limiter)has anyone actually hit a limiter of some sort, or redlined the cl to where the car can literally go no faster?

My cl feels like a school bus after driving my gixxer all the time. I hate driving the CL now because it feels so slow. Oh well. I ran it into a tree anyways and its got pretty bad front end damage. Fuck it. Gixxer > CL

I'm gonna sell the CL and get something else here pretty soon. Hopefully a Grand Cherokee
