take the lights out heat them up in the oven and then the light should come apart...paint the housings black and the silicone it all back together...sounds simple...but im sure its a major pain in the ass....
try a search might come up with better instructions...this is all off the top of my head. I didnt do this to my lights...

slooo got it right, only problem is you have to remove the bumper to get the lights out.
Also the headlight comes into 3 pieces, actually 4 if you count that little clear thing. the chrome housing comes completely apart and you just paint the whole thing black. I was afraid I was going to have to mask it off, but it is all really easy once you get the bumper off.
But the bumper will probably take you 2 hours to get off.

no other way, unless your really strong and can break the bottom supports off of the headlights. The headlights are attached in 5 places. 2 on top, 1 on the side. These three are easily removed. The bottom 2 are undernieth, and i tried every way I could to get them off without taking off the bumper. I actually got the 4 bolts off of the drivers side headlight without removing the bumper, but i couldn't get that last one. So finally I got the bumper off.
Once i finished the project, i decided to saw the 2 bottom support arms off of the headlights just incase i ever need to repaint them or anything. Now I can get the lights out easy without removing the bumper. And there is still plenty off support for the headlight. I suggest you do the same. It also mkes the headlight easier to put back in! Once you get the bumper off and remove all 5 bolts, you still have to practically rip the headlights out, because the 2 bottom support arms seem to be in the way.

VtecCL97-No, actually the oven is easier! The whole thing is heated at the same time, so you don't have to go around in a circle trying to keep all the silicon warm. Have you even done yours???
Clstyle-the oven is perfectly safe. Don't listen to the stupid nooB, I used the oven, as well as at least 500 others on honda-tech, club-si, and probably everyone on this site. You only heat it to about 225* and leave them in for about 5-7 minutes. The instructions I got off club-si said to leave them in 10 minutes, but 5 was enough for me. The headlight was barely getting warm, but the silicon was nice and melted

whats up jorgev, how do you like this site?? Much better than H-A.com huh! What do you mean corner lights?? Do you mean the bumper lights? Are you talking about the corner in the headlight? Cause that all gets painted when you take the apart, it's the same piece. i think the amber looks better on black ca with the black housings. Kind of a JDM look. Also i tried to paint my clear bumoer lights too, but it was a different silicon than the headlights and they wouldn't come apart for me. I shattered one trying, so I had no choice with the ambers, but i like them better now.

I don't understand why a company doesn't mass produce blacked out cl head lights... There is actually a high demand and they would sell alot of them... Maybe I'll start mass producing them?!
