not covered under warranty huh??

pop the sail panel off... just pull it off... the handle "cup" has one philips screw in it... then it slides forward and can be disconnected... on the passenger door, there is a philips screw behind that that has to be removed... it also helps to take the handle and lock assembly off the door frame... there are screws in the armrest/door pull... they can be found under little "caps"... the door panel should then just pop off the door... once its popped loose, it slides up and off the door... its actually pretty easy.

thanks jared, even if it's under warranty there's a 75 dollar deductible plus they'd take forever cause it's xmas...

sail panel is on the inside by the mirror? i took that off...
took the screw outta the thing behind the door handle...
took the screws (2) outta the armrest...
do i have to take the window button assembly off?

also where are the retaining clips and can i get them off with a flat screwdriver?

you have to disconnect all the wire plugs, for your alarm led, your door light, your door locks, and your power windows. The clips are at the bottom and can be "popped" off

aaron1017:

you dont have to take the door panels off to replace the 6-1/2" speakers. the grill on the door panel pops right off. after you take it off, you can take out all the screws holding the speaker in except for 1. to get the one, you cut a little bit of the door panel (make sure u dont cut above the grill or you can see it). then you take out one screw and u can do it without removing the door panel. takes no time at all
