How to clean...
How to clean...
Ok....It's spring and I want to do a spring clean up for my car...
How do I clean:
1. Tinted windows
-I've heard that you have to use some kind of special one to not ruin the tint
2. Leather Seats
-Mine is cracking up....how do i make it smooth again?!
3. Dash/Console
-The dust comes, and it always looks a little old....how do I make it look pretty new again?
I mostly need the tint one tho....I don't want to clean my windows with the wrong stuff o.O
Thanks
Dan

get armorall window cleaner. it comes in a windex type bottle and its clear and it should say right on there "ammonia free, safe for tinted windows." i've used it on my tint and nothing has gone wrong so far. use zymol or armorall leather wipes for the leather, and try to find something nice for the dash (nothing super shiny-the idea is to make it look clean like stock and not greasy)

DASH- I use black magic about 4 times a year then I just dust it off with a damp rag every week or so(black magic is the best stuff for tires too)
LEATHER- Lexol (this is the best stuff I have found, be sure to follow the directions and dont let it sit on the leather for too long before buffing it off.)
WINDOWS - anything without amonia (amonia fades tint, and CAN effect the adhesive that holds it to the glass)
I also reccomed the Meguiars Gold Class wax, this stuff makes paint shine like a mofo

I would stay away from silicon or oil based dressing/cleaners for the interior of your car. If you don’t use it on a regular basis *about once or twice a month* it will pull all the natural moisture out of your vinyl and or leather making it worse than it was before then eventually cracking and splitting it. Like ESP Sniper said you want it clean looking, not greasy. No offence to superj721, but I personally would never use black-magic on the interior, since it is a thick silicon based dressing. I would only use it on my tires, even if that...
