How to change out Front speakers

my friend has a 97 2.2 cl and his bose speaker behind the windseld on the dash blew out and he was wondering how to change it....do anyone know how to proceed?...i told him you might wanna take out the whole windseld, but he said to long...welps! anyone? thanks in advance

is it just the tweeter on the top of the dash??? cuz they should just pop out with a screw driver and then you can easily change those.......if its not those then i have no clue

Yeah, thats how you do it...you dont even need a screwdriver...They just pop out, they arent held in by anything but a couple little clips...pry up toward the window and pull out...very easy

now how do you take the speaker off...i can see how to take off the cover,is the speaker the same????thanks

the speaker will come out with the grill. Then there are like 2 screws holding the speaker to the grill.

you have to take off your door panels. read up on 97acura3.0cl's wood dash removal write up in teh DIY section. i think he tells you how to remove them. its not that hard, just look for the screws

were we talking abour door speakers or the speakers in the dash??? i thought we were talking abotu the dash, but if you need to take the door speakers out its really easy to get the door panel off

its the speakers on the dash..upfront by the window...by the vin#

ohhh, ok you're talking about your TWEETERS then. IIRC, its held in by a few phillips head screws. Just look at it, shouldn't be too hard to figure out how to get it out.
