I beat a prelude 5 speed on a highway run. Got it on video for all you BS-flag raising mofos too. Plus fastvtec was there to verify since the video was taken in his car.

Yes and there are CLs that have beaten GTs and M3s, etc. That doesn't mean that it will happen every time and it doesn't mean that it will happen from a standstill. Overall, the prelude is lighter and has more hp to the wheels since it is a manual, along with an extra gear, all of which should point to the fact that it is faster.
But, to drive that car fast you need to know how to rev it high and keep it there, which is not easy.

But I thought that the prelude has a nice top end.
I did overlook one point though. The prelude is easier to mod and therefore I guess it would win when it comes to mods. But the cl I think looks better

I meant mods that were made specifically for the preulde, the parts for the 3.0 are from an accord. What about supercharger that will fit.

Yes, but is also has TWO cams for a more efficient high end, along with an extra gear, and a higher rev limit, and still weighs less. What do you mean by high end? RPMs or MPH? Maybe if you raced from 90mph and on that would help. But, the lude has a better "high end" rpm power than the 3.0 does. The 3.0 drops off at around 5300rpm or so while the lude keeps making power until 6800 or so rpm. Please clarify your statement.

Thats why i bought the motor.
