approx. how much would it cost to fill in the holes on the trunk after you take off the center "A"?

 

youre lookin at some spot welding........then some body work...filler and smoothing it, prepping and then painting .......... i'd say about 300$

 

i say $400. u can prob save money if u just take ur trunk of and drop it off. they can usually do stuff on the side this way becuase hiding a whole car is hard.

its alot of work...and you've have to have the entire trunk lid repainted...

 

Yea, i asked about that a long time ago, and thats about right, i got quoted $360 to do everything. Mine will be done soon though, whenever i get my freakin car back!

 

How much would it be if they not only had to fill in the center A, but also had to fill in the holes left by a previously installed spoiler? I'm getting my car repainted soon and I want to remove the spoiler and center A. So I'm wondering how much extra this would cost because if it's more than $400 i'm just gonna get a new one and have it painted with the rest of the car.

Oh I see. Either way they're already gonna be repainting the whole car. So that wont be an issue. But if it's gonna be like 350-400 I might as well get a new trunk.

 

yep...new trunks are around there...i got a new trunk for my civic...it was 460.....i had about 4 diffrent spoilers so.....i was kinda forced to....

Ummm.... If and only if I end up getting it shaved off then it's yours. It's black and would probably need to be repainted. Also you would probably have to get a new spoiler gasket kit. Dont know how much that is but I'm sure it's not that much. I'll let you know when it will be available. Most likely it's not gonna be for about another month or so. But as long as you pay shipping, and give me a little $$$ for packaging then it's yours.

 

Did you have the 4 spoilers on at the sametime? And yeah a new trunk for the CL is only about $330 plus shipping from acuraautomotiveparts.org

 

if ur getting the whole car painted ne ways then it will cost u alot less to get the holes filled then if it was a separate thing.

Okay then. Most likely it will be painted by the end of the month or early March. I dont really know where i'm gonna take it yet. I'm still going around getting estimates.

I got lucky - kinda - when some crazy bitch slammed into my poor CL's backside - i got a new trunk with my new rear half of a CL and i told them to leave off the emblems and fill the factory emblem holes - they did and i love it! Looks sooo smooth and people are always looking at my car wondering what the hell it is!
