Hmm...
So. Today I got my rears rolled and test fitted a pair of 25mm spacers on the rears. Unfortunately I didn't get any pics, but to sum it all up, these gave me an EXTREME amount of poke and definitely would not work. Of course I'm trying to achieve a nice flush look, but as Fliplyricist has informed me, I would need to replace my current studs with extended ones to use any spacers lower than 25.
In the ideal and perfect world, I would want a 10mm out back and probably just 5's in the front, or 10's all around after seeing how the 25's fit. My current specs are 18x8.5 all around +35.
Only problem is that I was also informed that I might not be able to put on anything bigger than 5mm ones on as there might not be enough threads left on the stud for the wheels. (which is why the extended's would be necessary.)
Does anyone think I could pull of the 10's? I'm gonna see if I can return the 25mm ones for 10's. The guy who rolled my fenders said I might only have a few threads with 10's, and I want to have about 5-6 to be on the safe side.
The quote they gave me for extended studs/lugs would be $800 including front wheel bearing replacement in case they were bad. I would much rather buy the studs/lugs myself, and try n learn how to do the rears as they are much easier apparently, and get different quotes for the front.
What route would you guys suggest? I'll definitely get my spacers replaced first off, I really want to get completely flush, and won't settle for leaving my set up "the way it is", even though it does look nice.
