J/K! :P They rock....sooooo much better than my halogens!

My friend and I tested them out for nasty glare, etc tonight. He drove by me to have a look, then we swapped and I drove his car by mine. No nasty glare or anything like that. They are pretty bright, but not really bad. I really could care less if anyone high beams me. In a few months, if they do it too much I can give them a nice scare with some strobes/high beam flasher.

I love how they look on signs! I knew my high beams lit them up pretty well, but this is sick! Anything reflective is lit up like daylight - tags, those lil reflectors on the road, street signs, etc. I never new they had such nice colors! My friend was like "fuck you" hehe. He's Hella ( ) jealous!

I examined the bulbs again, the manufacturer did very nice job aligning the electodes (where the arc is made) in the HID bulb to the exact same placement of the filament in the halogen bulbs. It keeps the light centered where it was designed to be, keeps the light smoother. Not quite as good as the OEM TL ones, but close. For what I paid + keeping my stock look, I'm happy one damn happy camper!

Jealous, the manufactuer better do a good job because it cost so damn much for a job.

 

imagine how happy you would be with xenon setup in ur highs! next mod? or a bi-xenon projector. its daylight in front of me. cool thing is the plate drops up and down so fast in my bi-xenons its mimics strobes. u would definitely like that.

bi xenon is the way to go is you got the $$$

 

I seriously thought about it - you lights are hot! I really wanted to keep the OEM reflector apearance tho. I was just thinking last night how HIDs would look in the high beams, but I need halogens in there. The high beam flasher would probably destroy the ballasts. I'll probably upgrade the bulbs, maybe do some of the 100 watt ones. That white light is so addictive tho...hehe
