HID Projectors

hey,

I have a 2.3 and i wanted to get Hids for my car. I am tring to get them at 8000 Kelvins beacuse the deep blue color is my favorite color for headlights. My only concern is that if i dont have projectors the lights wont beam like HIDs are suppose to. Does any one know where i can get projectors for a 99 cl or does anyone know how my light are going to perform if i do no have projectors?

well anyone will tell you that projectors are the best...and truth to the matter the only way to go, but you can still have hids with no problem. I have them, and love the heck outta them. Mine is a 7500k, which is more like an ice blue. The beam is still a little scattered, but better then halogens

no one makes projectors for our cars. you have to fit them yourself and do a retrofit. If you want more info on that talk to recycledpaper

Click the search button up to, search the 1st gen forum, and you'll find tons of info about HID's and projectors. You can get a 9006 to HID kit, that will be really bright. For projectors, you would have to customize your headlight lenses and retrofit projectors. Search for vxcl or 97acura3.0CL they both did sweet retrofits for projectors into stock CL headlights.

Projectors are the only way that you're going to have that beam you're talking about.
