thanks for the information guys. anything better than stock would be great, since my Silverstars pretty much suck.
I'll be using this Eurolite kit on my six-gen AV6. I picked it up cheap for $250 brand new in box the other day.
I'm still working on getting TT or S4 projectors for a retrofit in to my OEM DIY blackouts, but dunno exactly when i'm gonna find a good pair for a good price

Where did you get for 250 brand new? I thought 350 was good
VXCL is there any way to tell quality of kit and how long they will last, for example my eurolites? I just got them as a spur of the moment thing like damn i want some hid's and bought them from this kid at my work. Whats the best way to keep them to last for a while, and how long do they usually last?

Funny story me and my gf were looking at new decks and my gf kinda knew the manager at ** Auto Sound and he said he had some in the back that he could sell dirt cheap since he couldn't move them into the store front and he rolled his previous civic.
Honestly, I'd be happy if these last a year, so I can sell them and get 2/3 of my money back towards a retro project
r0dxx: do you have any clean pictures of the kit in action? I think they might look more white in the CL?

1. the bulbs. do they say philips or osram on them? are the bulbs crystal clear? how focused is your light pattern?
2. the ballasts. are they a brand name. phlilips, hella? doesnt mean they are bad if they aren't hella or philips.
3. the wiring harness. is there one? does it use a relay and require wiring to your battery?

VXCL, Im just wondering when did you become such an HID genuis? Im still confused with the whole concept...But I just looked at my box...
1. My bulbs are clear, I actually liked it better with the blue hue in my headlight from a distance...I dont see any phillips or osram on it
2. On the box the HID's came in it says PHILIPS Ballast.
3. There isnt a wiring harness...It says switch relay.

the bulbs from eurolite are cheap rebases from Korea.
Talked to Erik Esch over at Toucan Industries today.
Eurolite is among the companies which has stopped making the kit, since it being illegal.

well you have some good ballasts. and as far as wiring did you have to run anything off your battery? it seems the eurolite is a good kit just not a great one. if your bulbs do ever go you'll prob have trouble getting new ones. and since hid kits are outlawed or becoming outlawed many ppl will be in the same position. don't worry though you should get a couple years out of them easily.
the bulbs wont self destruct like a bomb unless there's something wrong with them.
philips and osram bulbd are known for lasting the life of owning your car. not saying the cheaper ones never last that long, there's just no consistancy.
i wouldnt worry about your kit unless u ever want to get xenon projectors cuz then you would have a problem. enjoy the hid over halogen
