HID-Loose Battery Connection?

Ive had my HIDs installed for about 6 months now and they are not firing correctly. Every time I go to turn them on, I have to jiggle the red wire that connects to the battery for them to ignite. They stay on until I turn them off or turn the car off. When I start the car and go to turn them on again, I have to jiggle that red wire. Can that red wire have a bad connection to the battery? I really do not know what wire is which since I had a performance shop install them.

Yeah that sounds like the problem, most likely a wire to a relay.

How should I go about fixing this? Should I disconnect the wire and reconnect it?

I found the problem, the fuse was loose in the relay. I just took it out and tightly put it back in. Im just worried now because I had my lights on to try to locate the problem and the lights fickered on and off about 5 times and I know thats bad for the bulbs. So I hope I didn't damage them.

If they still turn on and off, I'm sure they're fine

Kinda off the topic but I think I want to get an aftermarket HID kit. Which is the best one to get?
