hid install
i got your PM..
all actual HID kits use a relay for power, they have a plug that goes where you would plug in your halogen bulb. when you turn the switch on, instead of lighting a halogen bulb, it switches the power on to the HID ballasts directly from the battery through the relay
my HID kit that i showed in the DIY section just had a black and white wire to connect to the circuit that would switch the relay on. instead of cutting the stock wires, i bought a bulb, broke the glass out, and soldered the wires onto the metal tabs that fit in the plug on the headlight harness so it was plug and play, however some kits already have the connector on there so you dont have to do that.

oh and it sounded like you were confused since you only have one factory plug adaptor. well the one plug just goes to one headlight plug, the one closest to where you mount the relay, on mine i used the plug on the driver side. the passenger socket has nothing plugged into it, its just covered with electrical tape. you only need one factory plug because it switches just one relay that sends power to both ballasts
