i would love to have a completely slammed car, but where i live all the roads are being redone, so theres random ass huge bumps and shit everywhere. i already bottom out all the time as is, but i think i could handle a good drop, id just have to be a lot more careful.

the price range is kind of undetermined right now, because it all depends on how much im going to be making this summer. id say about 500-800, but its still all up in the air right now, i just dont want to blow ridiculous amounts of money on a car i might be selling a year from now. if it turns out i dont get a new car, i can assure you youll see me on here a lot more.

if you lower your car try and do it right for the first time.

rides great?

well, I'm just going to chalk that up to you not having a 'decent' aftermarket suspension setup in your car yet. Cut springs ride like s***t any day of the week, fact is, even if you only shave a 1/8 inch off a coil, you're completely throwing off the springrates/characteristics of the spring. And that doesn't mean the spring becomes stiffer, that means all the spring does is get bouncier.

exactly. theres not enough room for the spring to rebound to its specified spring rate, so it still acts as if it has the same load on it, but rebounds harder, and is still just as soft. no matter what you do, cutting springs is going to seriously f up your car no matter what.

i have eilbach sportline sand Tokico Blues. not that low but a pretty decent ride.

his ride is a little bouncier than mine. maybe i shouldnt have said "rides great" maybe i should have said rides better than most cars ive driven or driven in with cut springs.
