Help "time sensitive"

Okay, after working on my car all day i decide to swap needles from car to car, after avidily searching I found the DYI "Removing Intrument Guage Cluster"! Which is a great write up but the intructions on removing either the needles or the actually guage does not work for mine! "there is no hole as the dyi says for me to slide over"!!

The needles are glued to the dial and are not removable, the diy refers to slipping guage faces over the needles

you are talking about two different things here i believe. what you read about sliding something over in the hole is if you are putting on aftermarket faces not changing needles. when applying the faces you do not remove the needles at all you just slide the needles in the holes and put them on that way. When you remove the needles you have to be very very careful because the temp/gas gauge is very very easy to snap off. I have seen people take two spoons and put them on each side and apply pressure on both sides to remove them that way but as i said they are easy to snap off and if that happens you have real problems
