hey guys, im new to this forum, and i just got in an accident with my cl, i messed up the whole front bumber and now instead of just fixing it, i want to make it look nice but not rice...im looking for a front white bumper aftermarket or not, or a nice front kit...i orginally was going to get the bumber from the dealer and the lip from ebay but i want to know where can i get cl parts, like different lips and all....do any bumpers from other cars fit on the cl accord 97? thanx a lot, i really need the help

As far as the bumper, the only whole bumper that will fit is the OE bumper.

The lips that are known to be available are the WingsWest front lip and the Ebay "JDM" style lip. While the WW lip has been around a while, the Ebay lip is newer to the scene. Just search to see what you like better.

Screw the dealership, they'll just bend you over with a quickness. Try the Off Topic forum and look under the Black Market section. You can search in there for one or post that you want to buy one. Just read the rules first or the Mods will get on ya.
Or you can try acuraautomotiveparts.org , they have a lot of OE stuff to get it fixed up.



By the way, the model years are 97-99, and most parts are interchangable, depending on whether it's for a 97 or a 98-99. Good luck

and sorry bout the crash,that sux....also check ebay/ the local yards for a bumper,once you got that throw on a ww lip,tint it,slam it,rim it up and your officially pimped,and can pop your collar and ride into the sunset.

Yeah, like they said, friends don't let friends get the black widow bumper kit, either do a custom 94-97 accord bumper, or get a wings west lip from our group buy, and get a new oem bumper.

97 grille, good luck with that, they no longer make it.

Try salvage yards for that item. As for bumpers, OEM bumper with WW lip kit, you'll be for sure.

WW lip all the way. The new ebay lip is too lippy. I mean, it is like sticking you lower lip out further than your upper.

thanx 5speed...thing is i used to have a WW lip molded on my bumper and after the accident its all messed up so i think im leaning towards the ebay lip since its eaier to find and its sumthing different, the only problem is i think i heard that the ebay lip is a pain to put on

here's what you do:

1) Buy a stock front bumper (its really the best thing out there.)

2) Buy a wings west front air dam from Excelerate in the group buys forum (link listed above I believe)

paint match everything, slap it on, and you're all set.

^ exactly wat i was gonna do...well i made a little mistake, i got the bumper today and i went to get it painted but i told the guy to paint the whole thing so even the thing on the bumper thats supposed to be black(the middle part) is gonna be white, hopefully it'll look kewl on the car, its different
