Help needed!

Before I get bombarded with harsh remarks, I tried the search button but ended up
with the same ol' EGR valve threads. Previously, I remember there was a thread in
which someone posted DIY instructions from a Honda Accord (same engine). Whoever
has thread or has these instructions, please provide them to me. Thanks in advance.

BTW I have extended warranty but since the problem occured prior to the contract being
effective. My stupid warranty company does not want to cover the cost. It's all good though, I'm going to milk them once another problem occurs.

I have a 98' 3.0 with about 76k miles. Does it matter if I didn't purchase the CL from an Acura Dealer? I have extended warranty but they don't cover the egr valve.
