HELP! motor problems? maybe CPU?
okay guys i been getting alot of information and ideas from this forum, thank you all. however i been having this problem for awhile now. the check engine light comes on. second, it only comes on when my motor fails to rev pass 3k rpm. i dont understand it and cant locate the source of the problem. it usually happens when im at a stop light; ill usually shut off the motor and start it back up then it's back to normal with the check engine light still on. i dont know im starting to lose faith in my cl... i hope it's not something major... besides HELP ME! im soo lost and frustrated and lost...

DRK, here's some codes for your 2.2CL.

I don't see a P0136, but that's in the area of the O2 sensors. It seems more likely the P1361 (TDC sensor) would influence your RPM's. Could be something as easy as a bad connection.
