Help leak

This leak is driving me crazy. Everytime I lift my drivers side (oem) mat it is soaked. Particulary under the rubber part of the mat. I have done some waterproofing work by caulking places that I though water would penetrate but no avail. I lifted the carpet up a few times to see the source but I can't make it out. I water keeps coming and now its driving me insane. The air inside the car feels very moist and nasty. Can anyone shine some light.

Do you have a hole under your carpet?

open the E-Bay and check the firewall.. maybe the rubber gasket there is broken and letting water in...

wow, sucks that your back posting ( it's been a while) and your mat is soaked. Is it only your mat? maybe the window?

I know. Movin and family problems never seem to leave me alone. I'm back for good though.
I did lift the carpet. I calked all creveses of the bottom to make sure water wasn't coming in. Damn this is a bitch.
