Help with headlight
Help with headlight
OK, so one of my sylvania silver stars went out and they didint have any more at the local shop, so I bought a pair of some off brand headlights. On the way to Florida last weekend one of the damn things exploded, now I have little pieces of blue glass all in my headlight casing. Any suggestions on how to get it out? How hard is it to remove the headlight housing and line it back up? Does anyone have a link to instructions on removing the housing?
Thanks guys

u have to remove the bumper to get the head lights out. when u put them in did you touch the glass. cause the grease ur body makes on your fingers will cause hot spots, and thats the only reason ive ever seen them explode. but usually the glass will melt.
maybee try putting tape stickey side out on the end of a coat hanger and stickin it in the hole. and see what happens...

yea tried the vacuum thing, didnt work. I might try the tape on a coat hanger. I just really dont wanna take off the bumper to remove the headlight. And no i was careful not to touch them, i think it's just cus they were cheap bulbs, i have never had one explode, they normally just form a bubble when they go out.
