help with 18s

still shopping, called a shop today for some racing hart evos, but he told me because the cl needs a 48 offset that all the evos will rub fender(because they dont make offset thay high), especially on lowered cars. is this true? does anybody with evos have this or any problems?

I have the Mas Italy 18's which are 18x7.5 with a 45mm offset. They fit perfect and no rubbing at all evne though it's not dropped yet.

If you really want them...get them....roll the fenders....that's what I plan on doing if my rims don't fit....the price you pay for individuality..

I have 18x7.5 Axis Se7ens(42 offset) with a 215/40/18 pirelli tire, on drastic drop using the Eibach sportlines...I have NO problems at all... I would try to use the same combo as I did, im very happy with my combo

You might want to check with other shops because I think the 1st gen CLs and 5th gen Accords typically use a 40-45mm offset w/ larger wheels.....I think a 48 offset will put you really close to rubbing on the inside....correct me if I am wrong.

I just ordered 18's with a 40mm offset and was told they would fit perfectly with a 225/40 tire. The offset was my main concern cause I am planning on putting the Eibach Sportline kit on in a couple months. I will let you know when I get them mounted.
