That's a deal, I've spent double that to get projectors, bulbs, and headlights and don't even have my ballasts yet

Isn't there some crap wrong with using a halogen housing like ours with projectors? Like it diffuses the light because its not the right focal length/angle? Ends up just dumping light everywhere instead of having a real nice beam?

Oh and it blinds the shit out of everyone else on the road?

the light is emitted through the projector itself, it doesnt matter what housing its in. You're talking about HID bulbs in a regular reflector housing

like rebased bulbs, projectors emit the light correctly

well you might get some light bouncing off the chrome housing and cause glare. if this happen just paint ur housing flat black since the headlight is all opened up.

is this the best way to get projector headlights? Because I've been reading threads talking about custom enclosures and crap and this seems alot smarter

buying an aftermarket headlight with projectors already in it would probably be easiest ? but i'm pretty sure that they don't exist

i think i can do the whole setup without problems .. but im still kind of confused on the shroud your suppose to put around the projectors. i spent like 2 hours reading on hidplanet.com or something, so i think i should be fine. if anyone has any suggestions though.. feel free

i would keep researching. If it was as easy as just getting the right bulb to have projectors, then why are people going through all the trouble to fabricate housings?

it isnt as easy as just getting the right bulbs, you have to fab the housings to fit the projectors and make it look nice. Other wise it just looks like you cut out a big ass hole ghetto fabbed some projectors in there.

looks like you bought em. If so please let us know how the install goes. Like if you need custom housing or you paint your own etc. Pics would be great too! Congrats on ballsing it up and taking the plunge.
