whats up guyz this is my first post..
my dads CL has alot of film built up on the inside of the headlight lens...what would i use to clean the inside of it to make it look new? thanks guy....

 

are you sure it is on the inside? mine was all built up on the outside

 

im pretty sure its on the inside....it looks like calcium or something....is there a way i can tell if its on the outside....how would i polish this?

 

well what I did was wet sand the lenses with 1000 grit and then 1500 grit sand paper then buffed em

 

does it leave any fine scratch marks?

 

or get novus plastic polish. it comes in 3 stages. use stage 3 to remove all the hardcore crap. stage 2 polishes it nicely. and stage 1 cleans and shines.

you can get a pack with those 3 in it for 8 bucks at the container store. i found my pack at one of the checkout stands.

 

Yeah that sounds like it is a better idea
