Headlight bulbs.... Need help!!!

Hey,
I'm looking at upgrading my factory headlight bulbs, couple of questions.
It looks like there are three bulbs, one for low beam, one for high beam, and one for parking lights.
Are these bulbs all the same or do I need different bulbs for each. Also is there aftermarket bulbs for all three of these?
Finally, any reccomendations on what brands to get.

Hey what's up? Yeah there are bulbs for all three, I got the piaas platinum superwhites all around. I am only using the low beam for my headlights. I don't think you need highs, waste of money i think. the piaas run aroun 60-80 bucks for two bulbs, high beam or low beam. the parking side lights are 12-14 bucks. They are very different bulbs, they are not the same. The high and low beam bulbs are not even the same, they are all three diffent bulbs. You might find other brands cheaper but I would stay with piaas since the quality and longevity of them will last longer.

the headlight low bean bulbs are 9006, the high bean light bulbs are 9005, im not sure about parking light, but they are all different type of bulbs tho~
if you want your headlight look really bright, go for PIAA super white platium.
or if you want it looks luxury HIDs like the new BMW, LEXUS, or new TYPE S. you should go for PIAA super plasma, CATZ or NOKYA.
i used NOKYA before, its very blue, not that bright. now im using CATZ for headlight, it looks a bit purple mixed with blue and very little green, i think the CATZ looks the best. one more thing, the PIAA super plasma is illegal.

Thanks for all the info guys. Just one more thing, where did you guys get the bulbs at?
And do you have a number for the side parking lights?

I too used PIAA Superwhites all around. The side markers / parking lights are just wedge bulbs. Nothing fancy. I got all of my lights from www.nextcollection.com and they were great. I also order my fogs from them....

I use the Catz Galaxy Whites, for lows and highs, and I think they look the best. And are definately among the best, if not the best quality. But they are about $50 a pair with shipping from NOPI.com

I got my piaas from a local speed shop, but you can get them over the internet at a lot of sites, rmsotico, a person that belongs to this forum just opened his own buisness, and has low prices you may want to check with him, also check ebay they have a lot of bulbs, I would just make sure they are new.

I have the Xanos Xenon Blue and they look really good. They are pretty blue when you first turn them on but once they warm up they are super white and bright with a slight tinge of blue. I think they are the closest to real HID i have seen and they light up the road pretty well. They dont come in stock wattage though. I have 80 watt 9006 for the lows and they are fine. You might alway want to try and get a new wiring harness or the Catz HID stimulator thing with the ballasts cause they are supposed to make your lights alot brighter and whiter.

No more scratches thanks to the dumbass who walked on my car and had to pay to have it repainted.
