Headlight Adj.

I have a 97 2.2 and just installed H.I.D.'s. Ive noticed my high beams and low beams don't match up correctly. On the back of the headlamp, there are two screws which seem to adjust the height of the beam but nothing to adjust the highbeam only. Does anyone know what adjustments do the top screw and the bottom screw make? Also I'm tryin to find some hyperwhite 168's or 194's bulbs to match my H.I.D.'s ? I've tried raybrig and piaa's but they're kind of yellowish.

it adjusts the whole headlight assembly, if i remember correctly. maybe you didn't line up the HID's correctly when you install them

Maybe you are looking at how it really is? The low beams are supposed to face slighty down at the road, and the highs are supposed to be pretty much straight ahead.

They fit correctly in the housing if that's what you mean. The light itself is hella bright but it dosen't reflect off the ground as well as it should. I thought it was because I didn't have projectors but my buddy has a 2000 Accord w/ HID's (no projectors) and they shine so much better. Mine seem to concentrate on one part of the road like they're out of focus.

Your bulbs are probably junk that doesn't have the HID capsule properly aligned with where the fillament was in the original bulb. Take one out, and hold a normal 9006 right up to it. Compare.

From what I see it does match up so I know it has to do with the aiming process. The HID's are SPL whites at 7500K and Ive seen the same set on a 2003 T.L and the reflection off the ground is a lot better.

2003 TLs already have HIDs for the low beams, and if you meant the fogs those are totally different reflectors that are mounted lower too.
