headgasket???

can a headgasket be put on bakwards? and what kind of test can i do to find out if it's leaking?

yes but it would look wierd. most coolant holes will be blocked. do a compression test. then check the oil to see of theres water in it, (it will look like chocolate milk)

well there's no water in oil , if compression test fails.then what?

if two joining pistons are low, could be the gasket. if you have no compression in one, then youve got a burned valve, or maybee its stuck open with carbon. if it fails then the head basically has to come off. what is it doing? runnin crazy, ?

it runs cool, but vapor comes out the rad cap. i checked out the plugs and the cyl. 2,3 plugs look diffrent than 1,4 a little darker .no oil . compression test this weekend thanks for the advice.

Could be a bad seal on your rad cap too

if you had the head gasket on backwards you'd def notice it.

i tried two diffrent caps same thing.
