Header Help

Ok so once again i'm trying to get my headers installed.First time the mechanic couldnt do it and still wanted to charge me. Second time it rained an my brakes were bad so i had to take care of that. Third time it rained again and i just gave up. I'm starting to think they aren't really worth it. I'm gonna give it one more try i found another mechanic that said he would do it for a hundred dollars as long as they are direct bolt on. I bought them off ebay from SSAUTOCHROME. The box that they came in says 3.0L Accord. Anyone with these already on that can confirm that they are direct bolt on. I don't want to take them there and them not fit again it woud be a waste of time and money. Thanks.

They are direct bolt on, the guy may have to loosen your cat and exhaust a little bit and then tighten it up after the headers are bolted on, but they're a direct fit.

And they're def worth it

easy to do...the only hard part was hooking it up to the cat. we ran into a little issue, but it was because he didnt have the oem cat. other then that, just jack up your car, but make sure its secure, because you have to get under there. plus if you dont have air tools like me, make sure you get the tools and someone to help you out.

dont forget when you put them on to reset your ecu by disconnecting your battery, so the car can relearn the extra airflow.. if you dont you will not feel much of a difference for a couple days.

Can't the ECU get reset by simply turning the car off? When I first got my car dyno'ed the ECU would cut power if not turned off after every run. If turned off then on, it functioned perfectly.

I had the ssautochrome headers on my car. They were not a perfect fit, but they did work. If you do it yourself, make sure you have jack stands, 10" extension, and breaker bar.

When you say there not a perfect fit what do you mean do they have to be bent or something like that

They don't have to be bent from what I understand, the bolts just need loosened on the rest of the exhaust like I said above
