head work

What's up, I need some opinions.....gotta buddy of mine that loves working on cars.....heres the deal im gettin...a mild port and polish on my head, new head gasket, vavle seals, timing belt kit, water pump, and cap and rotor.......all installed for 300 dollars.....but i have to buy the parts, so after adding that all up, its around 5-6 bucks for work and parts......including a port and polish job ....so go with it or what, i know at 90,000 miles I need a new belt and everything anyways......

Same as above, but just make damn sure he knows what he's doin. Don't want a guy portin or polishing your head, or even touching your engine if he doesn't know 100% what he's doin.
