hey guys, i'm looking into some tsx projectors...anyone happen to know what shrouds fit in our CLs, or does it not matter? I wanna pick those up and retrofit em onto my CL. I know the tsx projectors fit, just wanna know what shrouds you guys think would fit best w/out modification.

Just about all shrouds need some kind of cutting. I tried the minigun shrouds but they looked to massive and complicated to cut. Crossfire shouds (what Chris and I have) fit pretty nicely. The e46 shrouds would look pretty nice if your good at cutting. Go to www.theretrofitsource.com and look at the choices they have. Good site for retrofit n00bs.

Most will fit, you'll have to cut just about any of them because our headlights are really shallow

so i spent like 10 bucks or more washing my car at a coin-op place last night, and maybe an hour total of washing and drying it
and today it got really warm and is soo dirty outside. so the cl, in one drive home from school looks like crap again.
makes my car look so cheap & crappy when it's all dirty like this.

Doing my girlfriend's moms brakes today - shop wanted some ridiculous amount of money and told her the rotors needed to be replaced. I can't stand when shops try to rip people off.

rotors do need to be replaced if they're warping and stuff too. The Cadillac i had before had brand new rotors put on when i bought it, and i drove it for about a year and a half, most of the time the car would shake like crazy under hard braking.

I went to go put in new sparkplugs and found out the ones that are in there won't come out, which means the head probably now needs to be machined. Fuck.

speaking of brakes, i machined all my discs today, cleaned the calipers, bled the lines. tightned all the suspension, replaced rear hub assembly. car driver 10 times better.
next up is the clutch slave and valve adjustment. then finally i can get a tune done....it's blowing clouds upon clouds of black smoke at WOT. nasty.

The rotors were perfectly fine as I suspected. Whatever shop puts brakes on last time though over-torqued the caliper bolts big time. I needed to use an impact gun to get them off - fucking ridiculous.

your city had its st pats day parade too?
everything in my city is in walking distance so no one drives. we all pregame at the train tracks underneath a highway, walk to my friends gigantic porch overlooking the parade, then walk to a party around town. its a great day usually.

My saturday was working on cars all day. It was actually fun till i thought my sparkplugs were stuck in my head. Finally got them out today, and they were fuel-fouled. Replaced with NGK Iridiums and retarded the timing a tad, which was apparently fully advanced, and now she's running smooth again. Also solved my blown header gasket issue...with JB Weld lol.
