Having weird Issue - need advice
Hey zine, been some time since i have posted. the CL is running great.
something new came up today. when driving 60 - 70 mph i get a vibration in my front driver side wheel
intresting thing is it only occurs under power. no vibration in neutral. i am thinking something in the driveline, suspension , or maybe engine mounts.
has anyone experienced this?

it could be engine mounts. if i hit it hard from 50 and on the car starts to shake though. Im replacing my mounts this month since that seems to the first to go if i left it be.
i did wheel bearings up front about a year ago. no squeaking.
as for engine mounts, i dont have to step on it hard, even slightly to keep the speed, is enough to make it vibrate. i noticed today it does not do it all the time
how involved are engine mounts. i do 90% of the work myself in the driveway till now

sounds like a wheel bearing to me, or it could be a bent rim or axle. Engine mounts is possible but sounds more like something attached to the wheel to me
yea, i am going to throw on my summer rims this weekend to test that. will check the play in the wheels.
i have cracked a rim in the past but it would vibrate at all speed regardless if i was accelerating or not.
today for example, didn't vibrate at all

maybe just the road or you need a tire rotation? check the air in your tires. with temp changes the tire does go limp then back again
try revving to that exact rpm and see if the car shakes even at different speeds. put it in neutral and keep steady the rpm that you would be driving in when it happens. it may be internal, say like your balancing shafts
