Well I don't have a working computer in my office anymore
No azine for awhile during working hours.
I took the car to the shop during my lunch around 1pm. They said it'll take a few days. And they loved the aluminum plate over the moonroof, lol. So they will be installing the cage, taking off the rear speakers metal support, and installing the hood pins. I hope the hood pins do the trick.
I'll post pics when I pick her up.

They asked me to stop by the shop today to verify it was the way I wanted it before welding it completely. I was very pleased with what I saw. They aren't finished just yet. This cage was designed to work around your stock interior and the bar that crosses the dashboard might be an issue. This kit was deisgned for the accord, so that may be the reason why it may be a bump inthe road. They said it should be ready to pick up tomorrow. Woot!

Alright, I'm going to have them redo something for me. This is a autopower roll cage for the Miata which looks fine to me:

I stopped by the shop, and a bar literally goes across my gauges. I can't see shit. I don't understand how they (autopower) designed it this way. Makes no sense. So anyways, this is another style cage I found online. I'm going to have them replicate it for me. (the only thing I'm going to have them do, is cut the bar in 2 pieces, and have them welded in the top two corners like in this pic.

I'm going to stop by first thing in the morning before going to work and hand them this pic. Again, I just want to make myself clear, this is NOT the shop's wrong doing. They simply followed the diagram autopower had. When I was told it'd run across my dash, I gave them the okay. I wasn't aware it'd look the way it did. No biggie, nothing a bit more money can't fix.

I managed to catch them before leaving. I went to the shop, and changed it one more time. Instead of doing it like the pic above, I'm going to have the bar run arcoss at the top towards the windshield.
The way it was desinged before, was SCCA certified. The bolt in type does not have the bar that runs across the dashboard. In a worst case scenario at the tracks, I will simply not be allowed to run, and I'll have to have that bar run across the way it was designed. For now, I'll see if I can slide by with the way I'm going to have it done.

Okay, spoke with the owner today. He says if he takes off that bar, because of the grinding and what not, it will no longer be a certified cage. So I'm just going to have to relocate the gauges, or get an aftermarket rpm tach. Oh wells. In other news, I''m having them add another bar that will run across my rear shock towers.

Went to the shop today during lunch. The cage is complete. I printed out a page of the rule book from SCCA about my rear lexan. They are going to add the straps they mention to the rear windows required. After that and reintalling my lexan windows, they're done! Woot!
