The car doesn't really need body work and I've seen it in person, he's worrying about building his heads, block, suspension, way more important things for his car than body work

Now, the front splitter I know I'm getting no matter what. The fuel cell will happen in time. The rear diffuser is something I won't touch untill I get my car back on the track. I cannot predict what I will need, and any issues that occur could be fixed with alignment/suspension settings. BUT, to tune for high and low speed cornering, will have to include areodynamics like I have planned. But to know if I absolutely need the rear diffuser, will, again, require for me to do some tweaking on the track. I can put all the money in the world into this car, and it won't mean shit unless I can physically and mentally drive this thing right. I have to get back to the tracks to know what I truely need. Am I going to need stability, or am I going to need stability and traction for the rear during high speed cornering. That will be determined in time, after coutless hours on the track, and will determine if I need to go with a GT wing, or if I can get by with just a rear diffuser, or if I need both. But this is a subject I can't get into, untill I have more info on the car. I'm also going to have to be 100% sure that it's not driver's error that's misinforming me on the tracks.

So if that's what you mean by body work, fo shizzle! But as far as getting rid of scrathes and what not, not a chance in hell.

Okay, this may not happen here in Texas afterall. I was just told Friday will be my last day at work. BUT, this is unreliable info as this has been going on for awhile. It's a lot to talk about if I wanted to get into it, but I won't.

So though it won't happen out here in Texas, I will be going through my connects out in SoCal. It works out better for me, cause in SoCal it'd be cheaper and it's a 10 point roll cage. The only thing is, I don't know when my car will be in SoCal. All I know is that it won't see Cali till I get a garage to put it in.

Just spoke with Mike over at Brinks, I asked if it was at all possible to move me up before I left back to Cali. They'll be giving me a call back.

Well I just got the call, and it was a no go. They truely are the best for the job out here from what I've read. And they are packed. The only way I get can this done with them is if I keep my original appointment, but I'll need someone in Tx to take care of everything for me. I have to think about this.

I'm in Texas with my CL.

I move back to SoCal March 3rd.

My original appointment was for the 10th of March as the original plan was to move back to SoCal at the end of March.

I was notified by my bosses that the end of Feb was my last day at work since they are shutting it down. (kind of, this is a long story)

Since this came up last minute, I called the shop and told them my situation. Basically asked if they could move me up so I can get the cage installed before the end of this month. They tried to pull some strings, but did not want to upset their other customers.

Right now, I'm in the process of figuring out if I can get a garage to rent in Cali to take the CL. Otherwise, the car will sit in Tx. THIS CAR WILL NOT SEE CALIFORNIA UNLESS IT HAS A GARAGE TO STAY AT.

So, with this said, I may or may not leave someone in charge of taking it to the shop and picking it up for the cage in Tx. At the same time, I'm trying to get a price and available dates to get a cage in, in SoCal. I will do whatever is more convenient.

I know, I know. A bit confusing, but it's not the only thing running through my mind. I got a ticket to the Philippines for the 14th of April, and I'm debating about canceling that trip to save the money to dump into the car. Got too much on my mind right now, can't figure out why. I think I'm just nervous about the engine...

^ I am going to go with my best friend that's flip. And we were going to stay at his aunt's place. Other than that, the money was just going to a good time What's wrong with the philippines? Is it too dangerous? My younger brother was there about 3 months back, he said it was beautiful...cause it was either this, or go to Argentina to meet up with my younger brother during his spring break.

Well I figured that, but since Mike is flip I thought I could get around being over charged. I'm just going to speak spanish over there and say I'm from Colombia. And yes I know you're flip! Is it worth going?

Haha yea. Fell in love, what can I say. Curious, why are you planning on going with another 3.0 instead of a manual 2.2/2.3? And what all have you done to the GTO?

Just suspension stuff to the gto, she's laying down 370/370 with just a tune, doesn't need the power yet

What year GTO did you get? The first ones that came out were rated at 350hp. The newer ones were rated at 400hp or 450hp? Hit the tracks yet? I've seen some guys running high 12's with those things stock on slicks. I've seen some nice GTO's out here in Tx.

^ Maybe you will. I have to come back for it at one point. I had no luck with finding a garage, and I didn't want to pay the $215/month for a storage unit. I was asking friends around willing to pay $100/month. I have the option of leaving it in a backyard at my bosses house with a guarddog. But it's not enough for me. He's had people steal from his place before. And I just can't leave it outside. It's just plain retarded to do with the amount of money I put in it and with the amount of low lives out there.

Just bought the roll cage. It's for a 94-97 accord, but same difference. It arrives in 3-4 weeks. And I have to weld it myself. Just thought I'd keep you updated.

The cage will arrive in a 5-6 week time frame instead of the 3-4 week I had mentioned. Just keeping you updated on this as well.

Well, called the shop today that will be installing the cage and was told I can bring it in tomorrow. They couldn't take her in today as they didn't have any more room to store cars inside (about to rain and I don't want my car sitting outside whether it has a cover or not).

So tomorrow it is! Woot!
