Has anyone had this problem with their tranny?

I am praying to god that this is just a sensor and not the tranny, but here is what happens:

When i first start up the car when it is cold, it jerks into gear pretty hard, than when i am accel. it takes days for it to shift, and when it does it slams into gear. But after about 10 min the car shifts perfect; No problem. I am thinking that this is either the IAC or the speed sensor for the tranny. If anyone has experienced these problems please let me know ASAP...Thanks...

sounds like the speed sensor but your also having shifting problems, i would take it to a reputable shop and have it checked out

most small shops will check it out for free

I'm having the same exact problem. I've already taken it to a shop and the guy told me that nothing came up when he ran a test on it. So let me know if you figure something out!!

Its definately the begining signs of the tranny going bad. Before you know it will start doing more and more often. Then it won't even get out of first gear and it will be time for a new tranny .
It really sucks when you trying to make a left turn a traffic light and the car won't get into gear and when it does it you peel out. Been there done that. I would start shoping around for different tranny prices if I were you.
